Welcome to the Monitor! We're still getting our sea legs under us, so please forgive any bugs/glitches, but we're glad you're here!
We'll be making small moves at first, with plans to publish at least one new article every other day, then moving to daily as we build out our team.
Just the county government beat is a full-time job right now (and thankfully I have a great therapist), but as our team grows, so will our coverage areas.
While we eventually will have a paywall (raising three teenage girls ain't cheap), but everything will be 100% free for our first couple of months as we grow and build.
My hope is that this is the start of something special - something that doesn't just inform Bourbon County, but helps build Bourbon County back up again.
A year from now I may be begging my old boss for my day job back (he's easy to find - he's at Papa Don's almost as often as I am), but I really don't think so...I think we're at the beginning of something special here, and I'm glad to have you along for the ride.
